Riders may be eligible for earnings support if they are unwell and medically certified by a doctor as unable to work.

To be eligible, you must have completed at least 30 deliveries for Deliveroo during the 8 weeks before the sickness was diagnosed.

• The benefit is 75% of average daily earnings, maximum up to £50 per day, payable for up to 30 days. Average daily earnings are based on your Deliveroo earnings in the 60 days before you were unable to work.
• A 7-day waiting period applies. If you are unable to provide services for more than 7 consecutive days because of your sickness, earnings support is payable from the first day you were unable to provide services. No payment is made if you are unable to provide services for 7 days or less.
